The inventor of Aluminium Composite Materials, 3A Composites (formerly Alcan Composites), has over 40 years of experience and know-how in manufacturing ACM.
As the only ACM, DIBOND® comes with a unique alloy AlMg1. This composition offers enhanced processing characteristics, especially for 3D applications (bending, folding).
The black DIBOND® core serves as a UV-blocker which guarantees improved UV-stability compared to panels with a white core.
Very good outdoor stability and low thermal expansion at temperatures between -50°C up to +80°C.
DIBOND® provides an excellent weight-stability-ratio, i.e. that DIBOND is much lighter than other materials given the same dimensional stability - and even thin panels show a perfect flatness.
DIBOND® is fully recyclable! 3A Composites is the only manufacturer offering a take-back and recycling concept for post-consumer DIBOND® sheets.
In comparison to competitive materials DIBOND® is absolutely free from heavy metals and other hazardous substances – an according certificate is available through Alcan Singen for the whole DIBOND®range.

All DIBOND® surfaces come with a high quality polyester lacquer system. 3A Composites is a member of ECCA (European Coil Coating Association) and is therefore accredited to coat all DIBOND®surfaces directly at the production site in Singen
DIBOND® is a high quality product made in Germany. Aluminium coils which are used for the production of DIBOND® are produced in the rolling mill in Singen. Our production site is certified according to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO TS 16949, therefore we can guarantee continuous quality during the whole production process.
